A new collective agreement between the Finance Federation and the Greenland Business Association was reached on 23 February after several days of negotiations. It will be valid from 1 April this year and for three years.

- We have reached a good agreement for the employees for the next three years. These have been difficult negotiations in a special situation in Greenland, but we have reached a reasonable result that the members can hopefully see themselves in, says Marianne Kjær, chief negotiator at the Finance Federation, in a press release.

Creating peace

Christian Keldsen, Director of Greenland Business, points out that it has been crucial to reach an agreement that ensures peace for the financial companies.

- I am pleased that we now have an agreement that both parties are satisfied with. It is important for the entire Greenlandic business community and society, says Christian Keldsen in the same press release.

The agreement will now be put to a vote among the members, which will happen in the coming weeks.
