Cabin crew at the German airline Lufthansa are on strike on Wednesday and Thursday, which will have consequences for departures from the airports in Copenhagen and Billund.

On Wednesday, April 15, seven out of ten departures from Copenhagen Airport were cancelled. On Thursday, six out of nine departures were cancelled.

This is stated on the Copenhagen Airport website.

From Billund Airport, all five departures on Wednesday were cancelled, according to the airport website.

When the cabin crew strike comes into effect, it will replace another strike at the German airline.

Pilots at Lufthansa are on strike on Monday and Tuesday, which has also caused a number of cancelled departures.

On Monday, eight flights were cancelled from Copenhagen Airport, and four from Billund Airport.

On Tuesday, seven flights were also cancelled from Copenhagen Airport. Two flights from Billund were also cancelled.

The cabin crew union has announced the strike in an attempt to break deadlocked wage negotiations with Lufthansa's parent company and its regional subsidiary Lufthansa CityLine, which is also affected by the strike.
