It will now be a farewell to the Danish Parliament for Aaja Chemnitz (IA). She announced the news on her own Facebook:
- I have decided not to run in the Danish parliamentary elections on March 24.
- A heartfelt THANK YOU to all of you who have cheered, backed and supported me over the past 10 years, she writes.
Aaja Chemnitz was the only Greenlandic member of parliament since 2015 and thus reached three terms of office.
It is not clear what Aaja Chemnitz's plans for the future are:
- I hope you will follow the next chapter of my life - I am sure it will be fun and exciting, she writes.
