At 3:34 a.m. on Friday night, Greenland Police received a report of an assault on a 17-year-old girl in Nuuk.
This is stated by duty manager Poul Kreutzmann.
According to police information, the girl was attacked by several other young people in a group.
- In this connection, we have arrested three suspected perpetrators. They are 14, 15 and 16 years old, respectively, says Poul Kreutzmann.
Due to the nature and seriousness of the case, it has been subject to legal assessment, and two of the arrested are now expected to be produced in the district court for detention.
A 15 and a 16-year-old are to be produced, respectively, and they are a girl and a boy.
- Social services and the persons' guardians have been involved, says Poul Kreutzmann.
The 17-year-old victim was subjected to a serious assault but is doing well under the circumstances, according to the police assessment.
