23-year-old wanted near Ilulissat

23-year-old Aputsiaq Lange Jakobsen is wanted because he has not returned to Ilulissat.

The Norwegian Armed Forces Challenger aircraft is used, among other things, in connection with SAR operations, and according to the Greenland Police, it is in action during the search near Ilulissat.

Greenland Police are appealing for information from citizens about the whereabouts of a 23-year-old man near Ilulissat.

In a post on Facebook, Ilulissat Police and Ilulissat Fire Department wrote on Saturday evening that 23-year-old Aputsiaq Lange Jakobsen went out into the hinterland of Ilulissat on Saturday and has not returned.

- If you have seen Aputsiaq today or know of a possible route, please call 70 14 48. Arctic Command's Challenger aircraft will continue the search during the night, the police wrote on Saturday evening.
