On Saturday evening, the Greenland Police appealed for information from citizens about the whereabouts of a 23-year-old man near Ilulissat.
In a Facebook post on Saturday, Ilulissat Police and Ilulissat Fire Department wrote that a 23-year-old man went out into the hinterland of Ilulissat on Saturday and had not returned.
It was also reported that the Arctic Command Challenger aircraft would continue the search overnight.
Early Sunday morning, the police reported that the man had been found safe and sound.
