Some passengers have been waiting since February 19th and 20th, Air Greenland informs on the company's website.

Air Greenland is waiting for the helicopter to return to service.

- In the meantime, we have deployed two AS350 helicopters, and we have also used the H155 helicopter from Uummannaq.

- When this has not flown in Uummannaq, it has been deployed to Ilulissat to handle district flights in the settlements in Ilulissat and the towns in Disko Bay, writes Air Greenland.

The helicopter that is undergoing maintenance is an H155 helicopter and is expected to return to the area on Friday afternoon.
