The 75-year-old Boas Johansen from Sisimiut has been honored by Qeqqata Kommunia for his efforts for the city and nature. Qeqqata Kommunia announced this on its Facebook page.

Boas also says in the press release that when they are hunting, they also clean up their hunting grounds, which his father taught him and which he believes is very important.
- Boas also says that he is already looking forward to the summer, when he can collect waste, as he had already bought waste bags for the purpose, it appears from the Qeqqata Municipality's letter.
In recognition of his work in keeping the city clean and his role as a moral role model, Boas received a cash gift from the municipality.
