Happy Gut with new premises

Vivi Fleischer-Motzfeldt, owner of the company “Happy Gut”, is very happy to announce that she is expanding her business and moving to a new location in Block 5 in Nuuk city center.

- I am very happy and excited, Vivi Fleischer-Motzfeldt tells AG.

Previously, “Happy Gut” was located in Qinngorput and operated as a small factory delivering fresh juice to customers. Now the company will also have a small shop in the new premises.

- Some new machines have arrived, and there will also be a food truck that will be put into use this summer. It can be used at various events, for example for GM matches in Inussivik, she says.

In addition, she will also sell smoothies, chia porridge and, of course, the well-known juices, the recipes for which she has developed over seven years.

Vivi Fleischer-Motzfeldt suffers from several life-threatening illnesses that she has had her entire life.

- Eventually, I had to quit working, but my interest in juicing and a healthier life led me to change my lifestyle. And now I've come here, and I'm so happy and grateful, says Vivi Fleischer-Motzfeldt.

During her illness, she loved to visit Katti's Shop Café, which is now closed.

"I loved one of their smoothies. It gives me energy and a happy feeling. I asked the previous owner if I could continue the smoothie, and luckily she said yes," she says.

What Vivi Fleischer-Motzfeldt missed during her illness, she is working to offer today through her business.

The plan is for “Happy Gut” to open in its new premises at the end of February.

Right now, the renovation is almost complete, and there are many emotions at stake, not least because Vivi's late grandfather was one of those who built Block 5 back in the day.

- And now it's me, with the help of my husband, who is renovating. It's an emotional process, where I also remember those who passed away in the terrible accident with the gas explosion, she says.
