A DDoS attack is currently underway targeting Greenlandic websites. This is reported by the Danish Digital Agency and the Danish Agency for Social Security.
The attacks are not considered dangerous to data, but they disrupt the accessibility of the websites for short periods, says Greenlandic Government Minister Peter Borg (D) in a press release.
The situation is being closely monitored by Greenlandic Government, and relevant authorities are investigating the incident, he says:

One of the public websites that had problems on Friday morning is Kommuneqarfik Sermersooqs.
The municipality elaborates on the problems to Sermitsiaq:
- Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq can confirm that the municipality has experienced technical operational disruptions during the morning. The municipality's IT department states that, in collaboration with external operational partners, work is being done to restore normal operations as soon as possible.
Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq has no further comments at this time.
