The Municipality of Kujalleq has hired Mehdi Shams to head up compliance and legal affairs, the municipality said in a press release:
– Mehdi will be responsible for the overall tasks within the compliance and legal area and will also handle the municipality's general legal tasks. He will help ensure that applicable legislation is complied with internally in our administrations, and that all material sent out externally is within the legal framework.
The municipal director is looking forward to the upcoming collaboration with Mehdi Shams, who will start his new job in Qaqortoq on February 1st.
– We are very happy to have hired such a competent and skilled employee and are certain that Mehdi will strengthen and develop the area so that the municipality also lives up to its responsibility in this field in the future, says Randi Vestergaard Evaldsen.
Mehdi Shams has previously held various legal positions for the Self-Government and Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq.
