Update: The swimming pool says on Facebook that it will reopen on Thursday because the damaged installations will be repaired on Wednesday.

"However, we would like to ask users to be aware that Naluttarfik Malik may still risk closing from day to day due to problems with the ventilation system," the swimming pool writes in the post.

The swimming pool has been closed since the six-hour power outage that hit Nuuk, because a so-called PLC control unit for water and chemical dosing broke down due to the lack of power.

- The new water installation is expected to be delivered in the coming days, and after installation, the operation will be thoroughly tested before it can be reopened, it said in a Facebook post from the swimming pool.

It is also reported that repeated problems with the ventilation systems are keeping the sauna, health cabin and steam room closed.
