Self-governing Royal Greenland has turned the tide and achieved black figures on the bottom line after some difficult years.
The company states in a press release that the result is an important step in the recovery of the company's economy, and it has been created despite lower catches.

CEO Toke Binzer comments on the results:
“Although we have had fewer raw materials to work with, we have managed to maintain revenue. This is due to rising market prices, but also to a very large extent to a targeted effort in the organization with tight cost management and efficiency improvements, so that we ultimately get more value from the raw materials,” says Toke Binzer and continues:
“We have strengthened our earnings and our financial foundation, and this gives us a much better starting point when we are going to invest in our production and land facilities in this country in the coming years".
According to the company, a number of initiatives have meant that the costs for 2024 and 2025 have been reduced by over DKK 150 million in total.
