Arctic Umiaq Line has finished planning the sailing plan for the winter sailing for the coastal passenger ship, which will be operating from 20 February.
The shipping company states that the ice in Disko Bay is unusually far west, which makes it possible for the ship to call at Disko Bay as the conditions are now. And that is earlier than usual. However, they will continue to monitor whether the ice situation changes.
The sailing plan
- If ice conditions prevent sailing to Disko Bay, the passenger ship will only reach Sisimiut, Arctic Umiaq Line states in a press release.
The first departure from Nuuk is scheduled for Friday the 20th. February at 21.00 with expected arrival in Ilulissat on Sunday 22 February at 1 p.m. On the way to Ilussat calls "Sarfaq Ittuk" Maniitsoq, Kangaamiut, Sisimiut and Aasiaat.
