It has become a daily occurrence with foreign journalists in Nuuk, and on Monday there was also a significant turnout. Around 15 media representatives showed up at Inatsisartut, including both Greenlandic and foreign media.
DR and TV 2 have become a regular part of the daily press coverage in Greenland, along with the Greenlandic media Sermitsiaq and KNR. However, on this occasion, media from countries outside the Commonwealth were also present.
The increased interest has meant practical changes. The press tables were larger than usual and new procedures were put into use.
For security reasons, media personnel must now adhere to new measures. Among other things, jackets must be deposited in special boxes, the Inatsisartut agency reports.
