On Monday afternoon at 3:29 p.m., the Greenland Police received a report of a bomb threat at Nuuk Airport.

- Staff from the airport called and said that a customer had said something about a bomb, says security chief Aqqalu Petersen.

It was a man who had mentioned a bomb at the airport, and the police are taking the matter very seriously, says the security chief.

He emphasizes that it is illegal to use the word bomb at the airport, and that a number of procedures are initiated when something like this happens.

Unfortunately, the security chief can't say much more about the case. For example, he can't say whether the man has been arrested or provide further details about the course of the case.
