Municipality confirms: Overload attacks affect the availability of digital services

The municipality's digital services are currently affected by technical problems due to a DDoS attack.

The IT department is working on traffic filtering and other mitigation measures to restore normal operations. This is taking place in cooperation with external operating partners and relevant authorities. Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq writes in a press release.

Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq is currently only concerned with the technical aspects and the restoration of operations. Any actor attribution will be handled in cooperation with relevant authorities, writes the municipality.

Citizens and partners are asked to use telephone and email if online solutions are down. The municipality will update regularly with new confirmed information.
