Police are asking the public for help in investigating the death

Police are appealing for witnesses in a suspicious death case in Qaqortoq from October 2025. A 21-year-old man has been detained in the case.

The Greenland Police are now asking citizens for help in a case of a suspicious death in Qaqortoq.

The case concerns 63-year-old Poul Tittussen, who was found dead in his apartment at Nakkartarfik 1174 in Qaqortoq on Sunday, October 26, 2025.

- With the consent of the relatives, the police are now sharing a picture of the deceased Poul Tittussen, and the police are asking the public for help in connection with the continued investigation into the death, writes Greenland Police.

Seeking witnesses

The police are seeking assistance with the following:

21-year-old detained

The police further state that the death is being treated as suspicious, and a major investigation has taken place since the report.

According to the police, a 21-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the case at the end of December 2025, and after being produced in the circuit court, he was detained for 28 days by the Kujalleq Circuit Court.

63-year-old Poul Tittussen was found dead in his apartment at Nakkartarfik 1174 in Qaqortoq in October last year.
