The massive pressure from US President Donald Trump against Greenland continues despite the weekend's major protests and smoothing measures in the form of meetings and a larger military presence, the lack of which Donald Trump has criticized.
Donald Trump now says that the United States will discuss a purchase of Greenland at the World Economic Forum, which is currently taking place in Davos, Switzerland.
This is reported by the Reuters news agency.
"We have to have it. They have to get it done. They can't protect it, Denmark, they're wonderful people," Trump told reporters in Florida, according to Reuters.
"I know the leaders. They are very good people, but they don't even go there," he adds.
