Tusass appoints former deputy director as CEO

Jonas Hasselriis replaces Toke Binzers as CEO of Tusass. Hasselriis has served as acting CEO since November 2025.

Jonas Hasselriis has been appointed as CEO a few months after Toke Binzer's resignation. Jonas has served as acting CEO since November 2025.

There were around fifty candidates in the first phase of recruitment, of which twelve candidates were considered, Tusass reports.

- We have carried out a thorough and professional process in collaboration with an external recruitment company. We have emphasized experience within, among other things, telecommunications, top management, critical infrastructure, stakeholder management and management of major projects. On this basis, a unanimous recruitment committee has recommended Jonas Hasselriis to the board, says Siulittaasoq for Tusass, Bodil Marie Damgaard.

Decades of experience in the company

Jonas Hasselriis stands out with twenty years of experience, starting as a project engineer at Tusass. Since 2015, he has held leading roles as Technical Director and subsequently as Deputy Director.

- Tusass is in an important period, with big changes and big tasks ahead of us. I would like to thank Siulittaasoq and the entire board of directors for entrusting me with the task of leading Tusass, a company I have been a part of for 20 years.

- We play an important role in the development of Greenlandic society, and in the coming years will make major investments in securing the country's critical infrastructure and improving our customers. It is a task I will approach with great humility, in collaboration with the many talented colleagues in the company, says the new administrative director, Jonas Hasselriis, through a press release from Tusass.

Tusass has not yet appointed a new deputy director in connection with Jonas Hasselriis' appointment as CEO.
