On Sunday morning at 10 am, the police received a report of a rape at an address in Nuuk.
A woman in her 20s is the victim in the case, says Chief of Police Malik Olesen.
During the investigation, the police have arrested a man in his 30s. The suspect was later released, but he remains charged.
Later on Sunday - around 6 pm - another report of rape was received.
The report came from Ittoqqortoormiit in East Greenland. A woman in her 30s reported the rape.
The police have also arrested a suspect in this case.
The accused, like the victim, is around 30 years old, and the chief of police says that it has been decided that the man will be produced before the district court later today for further detention.
