Kenneth Kleist, chairman of Kalaallit Arsaattartut Kattuffiat (KAK), is pleased with the participation of the Greenland men's futsal national team in the international tournament Futsal Week January Cup 2026, which will be held in Labin, Croatia from January 22 to 25, 2026. This is announced by KAK.
The tournament brings together eight nations and provides Greenland with valuable international match training in a professional setup. The national team will play its opening match against Romania on Thursday, January 22.
Participation is made possible with support from Elite Sport Greenland, while the Bank of Greenland is the main sponsor of futsal and a central partner in the development of the sport in Greenland.
