Jakob Larsen, national coach, will select the women's A-national team for assembly in Nuuk in week 10. The assembly marks the start of preparations for the World Cup qualification, which will be held in Canada in December 2026.
- I am looking forward to getting started with the assembly and seeing all the players. For some of the players, it will be the first time I have seen them since I took up the position, says Jakob Larsen in a press release from Timersoqatigiiffiit Assammik Arsartartut Kattuffiat (TAAK).
Jakob Larsen is looking forward to getting started with the work with the team, and at TAAK there is great satisfaction that women's handball will once again have the opportunity to gather and train together.
- We are happy that women's handball can come together again and train together. The association is in a good process, where we are developing in several areas. Getting the women together and getting them ready for the World Cup qualification is a big priority for us, the association says.
