At 03.34 at night on Friday, the Greenland Police received a report of an assault on a 17-year-old girl in Nuuk.
This is stated by duty manager Poul Kreutzmann.
According to the police, the girl was assaulted by several other young people in association.
- In this connection, we have arrested three suspected perpetrators. These are people aged 14, 15 and 16 respectively, says Poul Kreutzmann.
Due to the nature and seriousness of the case, it has been subject to legal assessment, and two of the arrested are now expected to be produced in the circuit court with a view to detention.
It is respectively a 15 and a 16-year-old that must be produced, and it is a girl and a boy.
- The social services and the persons' guardians have been involved, says Poul Kreutzmann.
The 17-year-old victim was subjected to a serious assault but is doing well under the circumstances, according to the police's assessment.
