The technical error on the Atlantic flight Tuukkaq could not be resolved before Friday's flights from Copenhagen to Nuuk and return. Air Greenland confirms this to Sermitsiaq.
However, the problem does not lead to a cancellation on Friday, as it did on Thursday. A replacement aircraft from Spanish Privilege Style is handling the flight, so most passengers are expected to arrive on schedule on Friday.
However, the Spanish Airbus has a slightly smaller capacity than the Greenlandic one. Therefore, some passengers have to wait until Saturday, when Privilege Style flies again. Here they will travel together with those whose departures were canceled on Thursday.
The technical problem is that Tuukkaq's stabilizer for the tail needs to be replaced.
In addition, the changes mean that there will be no possibility of duty-free sales en route, Air Greenland informs affected passengers.
