This is what the chairman of Naalakkersuisut, Jens-Frederik, writes Nielsen (D), in a post on Facebook. He talks about the meeting between Greenland, Denmark and the USA yesterday, where they talked about President Donald Trump's desire to take control of Greenland.
Jens-Frederik Nielsen writes that the meeting was carried out in a serious but constructive tone. And he is happy that the dialogue is now underway, and there is agreement to set up a working group which will continue to work with them disagreements between the parties.

Greenland is not for sale
Lars Løkke Rasmussen and Vivian Motzfeldt held a press conference after the meeting yesterday, where they made it clear that the US administration have not moved from their position. They still want Greenland.
That is why Jens-Frederik Nielsen makes it clear again in his post, that Greenland belongs to the Greenlanders.
- Greenland wants peaceful and dialogue-based cooperation with USA and with our international partners. But dialogue presupposes respect for our constitutional position, for international law and for our right to our own country, he writes.
He repeats that Greenland is not for sale and that we are one part of the Kingdom of Denmark.
Like the vice-chairman of Naalakkersuisut, Múte B. Egede (IA), at a press conference last night, Jens-Frederik Nielsen calls for unity.
- The security policy situation is serious, and they geopolitical interests in our region are great. I understand that, creator uneasiness Precisely for this reason, it is crucial that we stick to our community and i the alliances that protect us.
- Now is not the time for internal discussions. Now is the time togetherness, calmness and responsibility. I follow the situation closely and I stand with you you to look after Greenland
