Two men indicted for attempted murder

According to the indictment, the two men hit and kicked the victim several times in the head and on the body, hit him with a chair and held a pillow over his face until he had trouble breathing.

One of the defendants should have said "I'm going to kill you now” to the aggrieved party.

The man sustained life-threatening injuries, including six fractures on his ribs, as well as a punctured lung. However, he survived with the help of lifeguards first aid.

The one 24-year-old man is also charged with witness intimidation, then after the episode he should have threatened violence if the aggrieved party reported case to the police, and said "if you report me to the police, I will attack you again.”

DKK 10,000 in compensation

In addition to the episode of attempted manslaughter, the one man is also accused of having committed violence against another person in Sisimiut 10 May 2025 early morning. He should have kicked the victim several times.

The prosecution is going after four months detention for both the 24-year-old men.

In addition, if they are convicted, they must pay DKK 10,000 in compensation to the man who, according to the prosecution, they tried to kill.

Possibly there will also be a compensation on top of that.

Both of the accused men are currently in custody.
