Erfalasorput vajer today on flagpoles, gables and construction cranes around Nuuk.

It is being done on the initiative of Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq, who is flying in solidarity with those who are emotionally affected by the situation - and as a call for unity among the citizens.

The flagging takes place on the same day that Naalakkersuisoq for foreign affairs Vivian Motzfeldt (S) and Denmark's Minister of Foreign Affairs Lars Løkke Rasmussen meet with US Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Washington D.C.
