Prince Joachim welcomes Vivian Motzfeldt in Washington D.C.

Prior to the meeting between Denmark, Greenland and the USA on Wednesday, Vivian Motzfeldt has landed in the USA, writes the ambassador.

Prince Joachim, who is the defense industry attaché at the Danish embassy in Washington D.C., has welcomed Vivian Motzfeldt (S), naalakkersuisoq for foreign affairs, to the American federal capital.

This appears from a post on X, which Denmark's ambassador to the USA, Jesper Møller Sørensen, shared on Tuesday evening.

The ambassador also shares a picture where Prince Joachim and Vivian Motzfeldt can be seen together with himself and Jacob Isbosethsen, who is Greenland's head of representation in the US.

Vivian Motzfeldt arrives in Washington D.C., ahead of Denmark and Greenland meeting with the United States at the White House on Wednesday.

On behalf of the Commonwealth, in addition to Motzfeldt, Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen (M) will also participate.

The Vice President of the United States, J.D. Vance, is hosting the meeting, and the US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, is also participating.
