Four out of ten Danes believe that Trump will invade

In a Voxmeter survey, 38 percent answered that they think the US will start an invasion of Greenland under Trump.

Button four out of ten Danes believe that the US will launch an invasion of Greenland during Donald Trump's presidency.

That shows a measurement that the analysis institute Voxmeter has made for Ritzau.

The measurement is made as a questionnaire survey in the period between 6 January and 9 January.

In total 1005 respondents answered the questionnaire.

On the question of whether it is believed that the United States will initiate an invasion of Greenland during Donald Trump's presidency, 10 percent answer that they are "strongly agree" with the statement.

28.3 Percent respond that they "agree" with the statement.

Conversely a total of 28.6 percent declare themselves to either "disagree" or "very much disagree".

The one US President Donald Trump has recently reiterated his desire to that Greenland becomes part of the United States.

Most recently on Friday, when he told reporters in the White House he emphasized his interest in Greenland.

- Me would like to make an agreement. That's the easy way. If we can't do it on the easy way, we do it the hard way (in English "If we don't do it the easy way, we're going to do it the hard way", ed.), said Trump according to the AFP news agency.

The one American president has repeatedly said that it is essential for it national security, that the US gains control of Greenland.
