Two people stabbed in Nuuk

The Greenland Police have received several reports of violence in the past 24 hours.

Two people have been stabbed. One must be evacuated to Denmark.

January 5 received Greenland Police received a report about a person who was badly bruised and had been stabbed with a knife on 2 January. The episode happened in Nuuk, and the person is admitted to Queen Ingrid's Hospital, but must be evacuated to Denmark.

The police are investigating the case.

Another stabbing was reported last night. There had been a fight at a pub in Nuuk, where a person was stabbed in the body. It was not life-threatening, and the person has been discharged from the hospital again.

- We see it as a serious incident, and therefore we are investigating it, says the warden.
