Josef Tarrak-Petrussen, rap musician, will perform for the second time at the popular Danish music festival, Roskilde Festival.
He announced the news himself on his Instagram when the festival presented this year's full program.
Among the 177 musical names that will play during the festival, which this year takes place from June 27 to July 4, is Tarrak.
- Tarrak is not only one of the leading names on the Greenlandic rap scene. He has also become a true generational voice, connecting the deeply personal and the political in poignant lyrics, Roskilde Festival itself writes about the artist on its website.
In 2023, the rapper performed at the festival for the first time, when he gave it his all on stage with the Danish rap group Suspekt.
- It's absolutely unreal to play here. I'm very overwhelmed, he said after the concert.
Tarrak will perform on the 'Laguna' stage at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 2. The concert will be "a large-scale and unique show," the festival writes, which will also include guest appearances from Aka Niviana and Peter Lyberth, among others.
- At the same time, the concert will feature brand new songs that Tarrak has never performed live before, so it will be a special meeting with the iconic rapper in every way, it says.
