Man charged with attempted murder in Aasiaat

Two people were stabbed late on Friday evening. A man has since been arrested in the case.

Two people were assaulted in Aasiaat late on Friday evening.

Late Friday night became two people in Aasiaat assaulted by a man where a knife was involved. The police received the report 05.39 on the night of Saturday.

A 33-year-old man was later arrested for the stabbing.

This is according to the head of duty at the Greenland Police Poul Kreutzmann.

The 33-year-old man is to be produced today before the circuit court, where he is charged with attempted manslaughter with a view to him must be detained.
