Before Allan Kristoffersen, his wife Eva Kristoffersen and the couple's two minor children moved their tent poles from their home in Holbæk to the Nuuk suburb of Nuussuaq in Greenland just over a year ago, he had been COOP Group CEO of COOP-owned Kvickly, SuperBrugsen and Brugsen.

From deficit to profit

The Danish businessman was hired in 2025 as CEO of the supermarket chain Brugseni, which had been struggling with large deficits. Allan Kristoffersen is the architect of Brugseni's three-year strategy, "Brugseni shows the way", which the company started to roll out on January 1st of this year. The goal is to achieve a profit of between DKK 20 and 25 million after tax during the strategy period.
