Greenland is new world record holder: Breaks 32-year-old AWG record in two-foot high kick

Petra Amossen from Tasiusaq has set a new record in two-foot high kick during the Arctic Winter Games. In doing so, she breaks a record that is 32 years old. Petra Amossen is now the holder of a world record in the discipline.

Today was a historic moment - in fact, there were several historic moments.

Petra Amossen from Tasiusaq set the record in two-foot high kick in the open category for women, no less than three times. She even sets a world record.

The old record was 195.58 cm and was set in 1994.

Petra had already won gold when she went after the record. First she kicked 198.12 cm. Then 200.66 cm and finally 203.2 cm.

Nicole Johnsen from Alaska, who set the old record 32 years ago, was also present.

And she was happy and satisfied that the record had now been broken records must be broken.

Petra also tried to break the record again at 205.74 cm, but without success.
