Royal Greenland hires a new production director

Tom Kaster will be the new production director at Royal Greenland, and he will live in Nuuk and will take office on 1 June.

Tom Kaster has previously been a central part of Royal Greenland's management. For a number of years he was at the head of land-based production in Greenland.

Royal Greenland has just hired a new Executive Vice President for production, on Danish production director.

It will be Tom Kaster who takes over the position on 1 June this year. He will live in Nuuk and will have a base Royal Greenland's head office in the city.

This is what Royal Greenland writes in a press release.

As production director, he gets it overall responsibility for the operation of all Royal Greenland's land-based factories and land facilities in both Greenland and internationally.

Old acquaintance

Tom Kaster has previously been a central part by Royal Greenland's management. He was for a number of years at the head of it land-based production in Greenland.

According to Royal Greenland, Tom Kaster has thus in-depth knowledge of both production.

He returns to Royal Greenland after some years in international management positions in the food industry. He has according to the company experiences from management of global supply chains and production environments, where he has been responsible for both factories, purchasing, logistics, quality, employee well-being and digitization as well as the work with strategy and investments.

Royal Greenland has not had a fixed production director since Lars Nielsen resigned at the end of last February year.

As mentioned, Tom Kaster gets as production director the overall responsibility for the operation of factories and land facilities throughout Royal Greenland.

The goal is to ensure high food safety, stable deliveries and efficient operation.

With the employment of Tom Kaster, five will leave six members of the group management from 1 June reside in Greenland.
