After her visit to Nuuk, Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen ends the day by saying a few words to the press.

- It is still a serious situation, but now we have a path to try with the Americans. We have always said that we want to make an agreement, and that is what we met about in Nuuk today.

She says again that she is in Nuuk to show the great Danish support for the Greenlandic people.

- I can feel how difficult this is for the Greenlandic people. I have spoken to many different people today, who have all said the same thing. I hope everyone in Greenland can feel Denmark's unequivocal, massive, big, heartwarming support for you.

- And that you can feel how Europe has stood up for Greenland, says the Prime Minister.

Jens-Frederik Nielsen did not come out and speak to the press, but Mette Frederiksen could well speak on behalf of both of them in relation to whether they are on the same page.

- We are in complete agreement. It has been important for both of us, for both countries, people, parliaments and governments, that we come together in this, that we stay together and that we coordinate with each other.

Mette Frederiksen landed in Nuuk at 11.08 and has held meetings with Jens-Frederik Nielsen. She will now fly back to Denmark.
