Mayor of Kujalleq Municipality, Malene Vahl Rasmussen (D) and spokesperson for the elderly Kiista P. Isaksen signed a cooperation agreement on Monday, 23 February.
The cooperation agreement involves communication through digital platforms between the municipality and the spokesperson for the elderly Kiista P. Isaksen.
- As the municipality's meeting rooms can be used in this way, I hope that it will mean that the elderly in Kujalleq Municipality are heard to a greater extent and that they are more involved in decisions concerning the elderly area, says Malene Vahl Rasmussen.
In addition to focusing on digital tools, the new agreement between the spokesperson for the elderly and the Municipality of Kujalleq is intended to improve general cooperation in the elderly area.
- The topics discussed at the meetings will be forwarded by the elderly spokesperson to the municipality, and from the municipality's side we will appoint a contact person for both the elderly and the elderly spokesperson. I am pleased with this agreement and look forward to good cooperation, says Malene Vahl Rasmussen.
