Aksel is homeless in Nuuk. He saw a post on Facebook from the Danish NGO, Help Your Neighbour, which specifically helps the homeless.
They have been collecting for the homeless in Greenland for the past while and landed earlier this week with 40 kg of sleeping bags, warm socks, scarves and hats in their luggage.
Another 100 kilos of winter boots, sleeping bags, sleeping mats, hats, socks and warm sleeping gear have been sent up with Blue Water Shipping.
Aksel contacted Help Your Neighbour and asked for help. And he got it. The NGO bought him a jacket, shoes and merino wool socks.
