On Monday evening, strong winds caused an area in Qaqortoq to be closed off.

On Facebook, the Greenland Police stated that the authority chose to close off around Block A and Poul Ibsensvej B-1268.

- This is because the roofing felt on the buildings has torn loose, which is why there is a danger to passersby. The police advise against all unnecessary movement in the area, writes the Greenland Police on Monday evening.

The weather forecast from DMI shows that there will still be strong winds in South Greenland on Tuesday.

Temp. between 4 degrees frost and 2 degrees heat. On Wednesday night, the weather will be clear, and the wind will calm down a bit, but in exposed places it can still be fresh or strong from the northwest, writes DMI.
