On Monday afternoon, the chairman of Naleraq, Pele Broberg, presents the party's four candidates for the Folketing.
During his presentation, Pele Broberg emphasizes that a vote for Naleraq is not a party-political vote, but a vote for Greenlandic identity and values.
- I have great confidence in our candidates. They are ready to stand up for Greenland and ensure that Greenlanders get a clear voice in the Folketing, he says and continues:
- All eyes are on Greenland these days. There are several attempts to influence from several fronts, whether it concerns the economy, development or our future. But one thing is certain, Greenlanders have the right to determine the future of the country. And that is what we will work for, says the chairman of Naleraq Pele Broberg during the presentation.
He further explains that Naleraq will elaborate on the party's policy on Friday.
Four candidates for important elections
So far, Naleraq has presented four candidates for the Folketing to be held on March 24.
Pele Broberg elaborates in his presentation that elections to the Folketing are also a very important election for Greenland.
- And that is because Greenland's location on the world map has become more interesting for other countries. Allies for several years have put Greenland in a serious situation. And it is important that Greenland itself decides what Greenland's future should be. It should not be America, Denmark or Europe, says Pele Broberg.
