The annual career fair in Denmark, organized by the Greenlandic Representation, will run from March 28-29, 2026.

Here, Greenlandic students in Denmark and others interested in working in Greenland will be met by companies and organizations that can tell you about the opportunities in the Greenlandic business community.

Aarhus and Copenhagen

This year, the career fair in Copenhagen is back at Nordatlantens Brygge, where the Representation is also located.

In Aarhus, the fair will be held in the Aarhus Hall close to Aarhus Railway Station.

Afternoons reserved for Greenlandic students

On both days the fair will open to people from all backgrounds from 9 to 12, where there will be stands with the participation of Greenlandic companies and organizations, both public and private. The afternoon is reserved for Greenlandic students, their partners, family and fellow students until 5 p.m.

– At the afternoon event, we welcome the Greenlandic students, after which the stands will open. Shortly afterwards, we have a round of 'speed-pitch' for each stand, where they get the microphone for 60 seconds to present career opportunities, employee benefits, etc., says Mads Lumholt, who is responsible for the career fair, courses and events at the Representation and continues:

- And in addition, there will be a number of relevant presentations in an adjacent room. Before the end, which includes delicious traditional Greenlandic fish soup, DJ Aviaja will perform, says Mads Lumholt and adds that it is also worth mentioning that during the career fair, there will be a raffle for a host of prizes, including a MacBook Pro each of the two days.

Currently, Air Greenland, EMJ-Atcon Greenland, Greenland Airports, Greenland Business School, Inuit:it, Inussuk, KNB Brugseni, Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq, NunaGreen, Peqqik – the Greenlandic Health Service, Permagreen, Polar Seafood, Royal Greenland and Tusass have registered with stands.

This is the first time that Inu:it is participating in the career fair in Denmark. The company would like to see more young people take an education within IT

IT company participates for the first time

For the IT company Inu:it, which has branches in both Greenland and Denmark, this is the first time that they participate in the career fair in Denmark.

– We want to show students that it is possible to get a job in Greenland, but also that while you are at school you can have a connection to Greenland through your workplace. In recent years, we have had several student assistants, some of whom have been students in Denmark who are studying in other courses than the one we are currently working on.

– However, their education was in a field that we needed skills for, and thus a synergy arose. We are participating with employees from both Greenland and Denmark to show the students that side of our company, says Director Morten Kronvold Lykke Olsen, adding:

– It would be great if we could get hold of young Greenlanders who want to take an education in IT and we could then offer them an apprenticeship where we could support them both during their school stay in Denmark but also offer them to come to Greenland for their internship.

Free bus transport has been arranged from Odense-Copenhagen and Aalborg-Aarhus. In addition, Greenlandic students can get a DSB Orange ticket refunded if they come from places other than Copenhagen, Odense, Aarhus and Aalborg.
