Saturday at 13 a demonstration has been called against the USA's plans to take over Greenland, and the same is now also happening in two other cities.
In Aasiaat there is also a demonstration at 13. The demonstration must start at the hall followed by a procession towards the municipal office:
- We encourage participants to show unity, take a Greenlandic flag with them, take good care of each other and treat each other with respect. Racism, violence and vandalism are not accepted, the organizers write in a post on Facebook.
Also in Qaqortoq, a demonstration has now been called with the headline 'Greenland is owned by Greenlanders', and the organizers want to show support for the other demonstrations.
The demonstration will take place at the city's fountain, where there will be speeches, and participants are encouraged to bring Erfalasorput with them.
