The Greenland Police inform Sermitsiaq that a flight made a safe landing in Nuuk on Thursday morning.
- The flight landed without any problems, says Jørgen Madsen from the Greenland Police.
According to Jørgen Madsen, the flight had reported some minor engine problems, and therefore it turned around and landed in Nuuk, after circling southeast of the city.
The flight was originally on its way to Ilulissat.
The incident led to several emergency services at the airport:
- The procedure in such a situation is that we must stand by so that we are prepared, explains Jørgen Madsen.
