Still wrong on Tuukkaq - replacement plane sent in on Friday

For the second day in a row, a technical problem means that Air Greenland's Tuukkaq is grounded in Copenhagen. The company Privilege Style will take over Friday's departures.

Tuukkaq currently has a replacement from Spain, who will fly between Greenland and Denmark on both Friday and Saturday.

The technical fault on the Atlantic aircraft Tuukkaq was not resolved before Friday's flights from Copenhagen to Nuuk and back. Air Greenland confirms this to Sermitsiaq.

However, the problem will not lead to a cancellation on Friday, as it did on Thursday. A replacement flight from Spanish Privilege Style is operating the flight, so most passengers are expected to arrive as scheduled on Friday.

However, the Spanish Airbus has a slightly smaller capacity than the Greenlandic one. Therefore, some passengers will have to wait until Saturday, when Privilege Style flies again. Here they will travel together with those whose flights were canceled on Thursday.

The technical problem is that Tuukkaq's tail stabilizer needs to be replaced.

Furthermore, the changes mean that there will be no possibility of duty-free sales en route, Air Greenland informs affected passengers.
