Futsal national team ready for tournament in Croatia

Futsal men's national team is finally ready to get back into action and participate in Futsal Week, which will take place from 16 to 26 January 2026.

The tournament will be held in Poreč, Croatia, from 21 to 25 January, and Greenland will face teams such as Romania, Malta, San Marino, Scotland and Switzerland.

The tournament will be held in Poreč, Croatia, from 21 to 25 January, and Greenland will face teams such as Romania, Malta, San Marino, Scotland and Switzerland.

- It will again be exciting to meet countries that rank closer to our level, and gain insight into how our development compares to theirs. We still don't have the same opportunities to play matches as the European countries, but this tournament gives us the opportunity to meet teams that we should be able to play on an equal footing with. We have met some of these teams before and had good experiences against them.

- Of course, Romania is the favourite, but we feel that we can take part in the other matches, and we actually have a good hope of being able to fight for the victory, says the national coaching team, Bo Holden and René Olsen.

With a strong team and a targeted training program, Greenland is looking forward to testing their abilities at international level. Regardless of the outcome of the matches, the tournament will be an important milestone in the national team's continued development.
