Is there a sporting moment from 2025 that has made you especially proud?

- I am proud to have come in second at the European Championships and third at the World Championships in Functional Fitness in 2025 – and not least to be able to represent Greenland with our own flag. It is still something very special to stand on the floor with the colors of my country, and it gives me a feeling of both humility and strength. For me, it is proof that hard work, stubbornness and big goals can lead far.

What does being a role model mean to you? 

- I don't really feel like a role model. I just do the things that give me energy and prioritize them. I hope people can see that there is nothing special about me – I'm just stubborn and determined. If others can do it, so can I – and so can everyone else if they put in the work. We are all different, we see the world differently, and I think that is fantastic. There is no one recipe that fits everyone on the path to our goals. I wish more people would dare to chase their own dreams without being afraid to dream big.

What does it mean to you when you represent your country on the field?

- It means everything to me to represent Greenland. I am proud to show our flag and tell about where I come from. It is still very special to meet people abroad who have never met someone from Greenland before. It gives me extra motivation to show who we are and what we can do. It is an honor I never take for granted.

What are your dreams for 2026? 

- My dreams for 2026 are to continue my development – both in sports and work. I hope that even more athletes will have the courage to set high goals for themselves and work hard to get out into the world and compete – and that the business community will support them on their journey. I am incredibly grateful for the great support from my sponsors over the years. Without their support, I would not have had the opportunity to participate in so many foreign competitions – that trust means everything.
