Is there a sporting moment from 2025 that has made you extra proud?

- I am proud to have been number 2 at the EC and number 3 at the WC in Functional Fitness in 2025 - and not least to be able to represent Greenland with our own flag. It is still something very special to stand on the floor with the colors of my country, and it gives me a feeling of both humility and strength. For me, it is proof that hard work, stubbornness and big goals can go a long way.

What does being a role model mean to you?

- I don't really feel like a role model. I just do the things that give me energy and prioritize them. I hope people can see that there is nothing special about me - I am just stubborn and determined. If others can do it, so can I - and so can everyone else if they put in the work. We're all different, we see the world differently, and I think that's great. There is no one-size-fits-all recipe on the road to our goals. I want more people to dare to chase their own dreams without being afraid to dream big.

What does it mean to you when you represent your country on the pitch?

- It means everything to me to represent Greenland. I am proud to show our flag and talk about where I come from. It is still very special to meet people abroad who have never met a person from Greenland before. It gives me extra motivation to show who we are and what we can do. It's an honor I never take for granted.

What are your dreams for 2026?

- My dreams for 2026 are to continue my development – ​​both sportingly and professionally. I hope that even more athletes gain the courage to set high goals for themselves and work purposefully to get out into the world and compete - and that the business world will support them on their journey. I myself am incredibly grateful for the great support from my sponsors over many years. Without their support, I would not have had the opportunity to participate in so many foreign competitions – that trust means everything.
