Aqqalooraq Møller-Lund and Loke Svane, goalkeeper specialists, are behind a new futsal goalkeeper training, which KAK is now launching. The purpose is to bring together practical exercises, professional knowledge and concrete experiences in a structured course aimed at both coaches and goalkeepers.

The current futsal national team goalkeeper Aqqalooraq Møller-Lund and former national team goalkeeper Loke Svane have taken the initiative to strengthen goalkeeper training, which is often given low priority in clubs.

- Learning is important for goalkeepers at all levels, as their tasks and practical training are often given low priority in clubs because they don't have the people to do it. Those who want to, may lack the professional expertise, and that's what we would like to help solve, says Aqqalooraq Møller-Lund.

- There are several people who have asked for this, and not only the head coach himself, but also people around the various teams are asking for help to solve this, and specific goalkeeper training is a must if you want to raise the team's level, continues Loke Svane.

KAK's goal is to have this important part integrated into the existing coach training, so that everyone interested in the goalkeeper position can get the necessary knowledge and sparring. Work is currently underway to gather interested participants so that the theoretical part can be started.

- There is a lot of work involved in getting the clubs and their skilled coaches to understand the scope of the goalkeeper's tasks on a team and the importance of getting them better involved in daily training in the clubs. As the other two mention, it has been a wish that several people have asked about, and now there is finally an offer, concludes the national coach for the men's futsal team, René Olsen.
