This weekend, the hall in Ilulissat was transformed into a center for training and development as KAK completed the second course in their new instructor course. Having completed KAK's B-instructor course, participants can now call themselves B-instructors. This course marks the second part of a two-stage course designed to raise the quality of coach education across Greenland. With the course, KAK is taking an important step in its work to strengthen both the sporting and pedagogical quality of the country's futsal clubs.

Ten cities – One clear direction for the future

In 2025, KAK has now held courses in ten different cities, and the demand for coaching training is growing rapidly. The association has a clear ambition: All clubs working with coaching activities – whether children, young people or seniors – must have access to training that is adapted to their needs and reality on the pitch. KAK aims to reach all cities within the next 2-4 years.

- Interest is greater than ever before, and our instructors shoulder a huge responsibility. They help shape the coaches of the future – and thus the futsal of the future, says KAK.

The instructors as mentors and cultural mediators

The newly qualified instructors play a central role in the continued development of futsal in Greenland. They function not only as teachers, but also as mentors, cultural mediators and strong role models. Their work ensures that futsal's values and methods are anchored in clubs across the country.

A strong instructor corps is thus a cornerstone of KAK's club service. With high professionalism and local roots, it is crucial for KAK to ensure that clubs receive the necessary support to develop at a national level.
