In an update on the construction of Sarfaarsuit Center, Pisiffik writes that the center is expected to open later this year.

The center will be 9,000 m² spread over two levels in the Nuussuaq district of Nuuk, and it will house a number of stores.

Pisiffik is behind the new center, and according to the company, it will include the stores JYSK, ILVA and a Pisiffik grocery store.

A Burger King with a drive-in will also open, Pisiffik reveals in the update on Facebook.

In the fall, there were long lines to get a Whopper in Sisimiut when Greenland's first Burger King opened there, and now the restaurant chain is also coming to the capital.

Pisiffik also states that work is also underway to establish a hardware store in the new center, and the company will soon present several of the stores and concepts that will be part of the center.

“We are very much looking forward to creating a new shopping and meeting place in Nuuk. It should be a place where it is easy to do your shopping, but also a place where there is life and good experiences,” says non-food director Peter Thomsen.
